Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight at the Dillon County Detention Center in South Carolina.
This unique opportunity requires just 2–3 hours per week , with the flexibility to complete those hours anytime Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
Want to do more? We're also looking for an RN who may be interested in picking up occasional PRN shifts to help support patient care and facility coverage when needed.

🩺 What You'll Do
As the RN providing clinical oversight, you'll help support quality healthcare services and promote safe, consistent patient care.
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide nursing oversight and clinical guidance for healthcare services at the facility.
- Review clinical practices and documentation to support quality patient care.
- Help ensure nursing care aligns with established clinical protocols, SHP policies, and applicable standards.
- Serve as a clinical resource for healthcare staff when guidance is needed.
- Support continuity of care and appropriate communication regarding patient needs.
- Assist with identifying clinical concerns and opportunities to improve care delivery.
- Complete required oversight responsibilities during your scheduled weekly hours.
- Optionally pick up PRN shifts to provide direct patient care and assist with staffing coverage as needed.
Qualifications
📋 What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
- Nursing experience and sound clinical judgment.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently.
- Professionalism and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
- A patient-focused approach and dedication to quality healthcare.
- Willingness to complete 2–3 hours of oversight each week during the facility's weekday availability window.
- Availability to pick up occasional PRN shifts is a plus , but the primary oversight commitment is just 2–3 hours per week.
