About this role

Are you an experienced detailer tired of working outside in the Florida heat, rain, and unpredictable weather? PrideStaff is hiring a skilled, dependable Detailer for a premier, fast-growing manufacturing company in Tampa.

In this role, you will perform the final aesthetic prep, deep clean, and detail work on brand-new manufactured units right before they ship out to end users. If you have hands-on experience detailing automobiles, boats, golf carts, RVs, or powersports equipment and take pride in delivering a flawless showroom finish, this position offers steady year-round indoor work, consistent daytime hours, and competitive weekly pay.

Position Highlights: Work indoors in a sheltered, well-equipped facility—out of the sun and elements. Predictable, stable schedule (Monday through Friday, day shift). Opportunity for long-term career growth with a reputable local employer. Weekly pay and comprehensive employee benefits through PrideStaff.

Wash, wipe down, buff, polish, and treat exterior and interior surfaces to meet strict quality standards. Identify and correct minor surface flaws, scuffs, residue, or cosmetic imperfections using appropriate compounds and hand tools. Safely operate detailing equipment including buffers, polishers, pressure washers, and extractors. Ensure all finished units meet high aesthetic presentation standards before packaging and freight release. Maintain an organized, clean detailing station and report inventory levels on detailing supplies. Work closely with production and quality control teams to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
Qualifications: 1 to 3+ years of professional detailing experience (automotive, marine, golf cart, RV, aviation, or manufacturing finish prep preferred). Proficiency with buffers, polishers, waxes, cleaning chemicals, and scratch/blemish removal techniques. Exceptional attention to detail and personal pride in quality of work. Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a standard shift. Dependable transportation, strong punctuality, and a solid work ethic. Ability to pass standard pre-employment screening.
