Senior SAP FICO Lead Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Lead Consultant with a strong accounting and finance background and a minimum of 7 years of SAP experience .
This role requires strong functional leadership, customer-facing capabilities, and the ability to mentor teams and drive innovative solutions within an SAP ECC environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex SAP FI/CO solutions across implementation, AMS, rollout, and migration projects.
- Analyze finance and accounting business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FI/CO functionality based on business requirements.
- Provide functional leadership for SAP finance initiatives and enhancements.
- Work across SAP logistics and finance modules to support integrated business processes.
- Support and guide customers in adopting new SAP processes, functionality, and solutions.
- Mentor functional team members and provide guidance on solution design and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other SAP functional teams.
- Develop functional specifications and configuration documentation.
- Prepare and maintain Business Process Documents (BPD) and Business Process Configuration Documents .
- Troubleshoot complex functional and integration issues.
- Drive teams toward timely resolution and delivery while maintaining solution quality.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification, preferably Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of finance/accounting domain experience .
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP experience .
- Strong implementation and configuration experience with SAP FI and CO .
- Experience leading complex SAP programs or workstreams.
- Experience with AMS, implementations, rollouts, and/or migration projects .
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting business processes.
- Knowledge of at least two industry business-process environments .
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP Finance and logistics modules.
