Senior SAP SD ECC Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD ECC Specialist with 7–11 years of hands-on SAP Sales & Distribution experience to design, configure, implement, and optimize SAP SD solutions.

This position requires the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams to translate complex business requirements into reliable and scalable SAP SD ECC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SAP SD ECC implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives .

- Design, configure, and implement SAP SD ECC functionality based on business requirements.

- Analyze complex Sales & Distribution business scenarios and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

- Configure SAP SD processes to support business operations and organizational requirements.

- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing sales and distribution workflows.

- Support integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules , as well as external applications.

- Perform functional and system testing to validate configurations and enhancements.

- Troubleshoot SAP SD issues and provide effective root-cause analysis and resolution.

- Monitor SAP SD functionality and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

- Participate in SAP ECC upgrade and migration projects .

- Develop and maintain functional, process, configuration, and testing documentation.

- Provide expert guidance on SAP SD best practices.

- Mentor and provide technical/functional guidance to junior team members.

- Conduct training sessions and workshops for business users.

- Ensure SAP SD configurations comply with organizational policies and applicable standards.

Required Qualifications

- 7–11 years of SAP SD functional experience .

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC .

- Proven expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) configuration and customization .

- Experience delivering end-to-end SAP SD implementations and enhancement projects.

- Strong knowledge of sales and distribution business processes.

- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into SAP functional solutions.

- Strong experience with SAP SD integration across other SAP modules.

- Experience integrating SAP SD with external applications or systems.

- Experience with functional and system testing.

- Strong troubleshooting and production issue-resolution capabilities.

- Experience with SAP ECC upgrade and/or migration projects.

- Experience preparing functional and configuration documentation.
