OMS / Fluent Commerce Technical Lead
We are seeking an experienced OMS / Fluent Commerce Technical Lead with 10–15 years of overall technology experience and a strong background in Order Management Systems (OMS), eCommerce, enterprise integrations, and large-scale solution delivery .

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Fluent Commerce OMS solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across large-scale OMS implementation programs.
- Define scalable and reliable technical solutions aligned with business and architectural requirements.
- Lead and guide developers throughout the solution development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between the OMS platform and other enterprise applications.
- Design and oversee integrations between Fluent Commerce and systems such as:
SAP
- eCommerce platforms
- Middleware/integration platforms
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Other enterprise applications
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to junior developers.
- Establish and promote Fluent Commerce development best practices.
- Ensure solutions meet required performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and integration challenges.
- Coordinate technical activities, deliverables, and dependencies to support successful project completion.
- Work closely with architects, business teams, product owners, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Support technical planning and execution within Agile delivery environments.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of overall IT/software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) .
- Strong hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce is highly preferred.
- Candidates with strong experience in comparable OMS platforms, particularly IBM Sterling Order Management , may also be considered.
- Strong technical background in eCommerce and Order Management solutions .
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale OMS implementations.
- Experience integrating OMS solutions with multiple enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of application and system integration architecture.
- Experience with Retail and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environments.
- Experience leading technical teams and complex technology programs.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience working with tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow .
