About this role

Help a Friendship Blossom!

Do you speak Italian and enjoy sharing stories, creativity, and companionship? We are looking for a friendly Italian-speaking Social Volunteer to visit a lovely lady for one hour each week.

This lady enjoys crafts and has a creative spirit, with a lifelong appreciation for beauty and design from her time working as a florist. She values her independence and would love the opportunity to connect with someone who can chat with her in Italian, share interests, and enjoy meaningful conversation.

Whether you're reminiscing about gardens and flowers, discussing creative projects, or simply enjoying a friendly chat, your weekly visits can provide companionship, connection, and something special to look forward to.

No special experience is needed, just a warm personality, a listening ear, and a willingness to build a genuine friendship.

If you'd like to help a friendship bloom and share the joy of Italian conversation, apply today. Your one hour could cultivate a meaningful connection that brightens both your lives!

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.
