POSITION OVERVIEW
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of BIGHORN Facilities. This position ensures that all areas consistently meet the high standards expected by members and guests, supporting a safe, welcoming, and luxurious environment throughout the Club.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Dust and clean rooms, furniture, and fixtures.
- Sanitize and replenish restrooms.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean dining and common areas.
- Sweep patios and clean patio furniture.
- Maintain pool, spa, sauna, locker room, and tennis court areas.
- Wash windows, glass doors, and polish counters, desks, and door handles.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Report damages, maintenance issues, and safety hazards to supervisor.
- Assist with inventory control and supply security.
- Perform deep-cleaning projects as scheduled.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain gym, Pilates, and aerobics equipment.
- Maintain employee restrooms and laundry areas.
- Clean vents, ceiling fixtures, and fans; perform spot cleaning as needed.
- Transport linens to and from laundry facilities.
- Operate utility and cargo carts for supply transport.
- Assist with event setup of furniture and equipment when needed.
- Leadership – Maintain a positive and professional attitude, exemplify Club values, and support departmental goals.
- T eamwork – Promote cooperation and collaboration with co-workers and across departments.
- Safety – Follow all established safety procedures and attend required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
- Minimum six (6) months related housekeeping/janitorial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience.
Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance methods for a wide variety of surfaces, furniture, and equipment.
- Ability to follow directions regarding safe use of chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to work in wet, humid conditions and environments where cleaning chemicals are present.
- Good communication skills.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Drivers license

- Continuous use of hands for cleaning tasks (wiping, scrubbing, mopping, handling supplies).
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the facilities.
- Lifting linens, supplies, and cleaning equipment to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
(team assist as needed).
- Reaching overhead to clean vents, shelves, and high surfaces.
- Bending, stooping, and kneeling for floor and low-surface cleaning.
