Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Casco, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.

- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.

- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

- Assist with light housekeeping and errands as needed.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role preferred.

- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

- Reliable transportation to and from client locations.

- Ability to pass background checks.
