Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in Saint Clair, MI. This role involves assisting clients with their daily living activities to promote independence, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed

- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands

- Monitor clients health and report any changes to the care team

- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client quality of life

- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors

Requirements

- Previous experience in personal care or caregiving preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Reliable transportation and flexibility with scheduling

- Pass relevant background checks
