Home Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our team at University Home Care Inc. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care services to our clients in Newport, MI, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Provide medication reminders and support as needed

- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required

- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment

- Monitor clients health and report any changes to supervisory staff

- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or related field preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic

- Must be able to pass a background check

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation is a plus
