Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide in-home support and assistance to individuals in Clawson, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by helping with daily tasks and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

- Provide medication reminders and support according to care plans

- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed

- Support clients with mobility and transfers safely

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and safety

- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or related fields is a plus

- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients

- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to client confidentiality

- Ability to work independently and follow care plans

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation may be required

- Willingness to undergo background checks
