Position Overview
Location: Laurel, MD (Requires minimal travel to Curtis Bay, MD for training and certifications). Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $22.00/hour Employment Type: Full-time

PrideStaff is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Direct-To-Stock (DTS) Associate to join a growing, successful, and 100% employee-owned distributor in the Laurel, MD area. Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming freight and check the material for damages or shortages. Follow up with appropriate departments or carriers regarding receiving discrepancies. Inventory Management: Distribute material to the proper stock locations. Maintain assigned inventory stock locations, making sure material put away has the correct locator and shelves are kept neat and orderly. Inform proper departments of inventory discrepancies or other concerns. Order Fulfillment: Fill special orders and backorders as material is received. Fill orders for delivery to customers, checking and packing material to be delivered. Assure all batched managed material is labeled accurately and inventoried. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain all equipment (including forklifts) in a safe manner. Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic and safety regulations. General Warehouse Support: Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks. Maintain shipping equipment and keep the work area clean and safe. Notify your supervisor of any building, equipment maintenance, or security concerns.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
Prior warehouse distribution experience, including forklift operation. PC working knowledge for Windows, Internet, and Outlook email. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking in English. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 lbs, with continuous handling of materials and frequent reaching, balancing, and driving of a forklift. Willingness to submit to pre-employment screenings, which include a criminal background check, a drug test, and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Nice-to-Haves:
2 years of general work experience. Knowledge of electrical products and systems. Experience with Epicor Solar Eclipse ERP inventory and order management software.
