The project : We are supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most significant and complex rail infrastructure programmes, providing specialist commercial advisory services across a major portfolio of projects and delivery partners.

As a commercial consultancy manager, you will play a key role in delivering commercial management and cost consultancy services across a nationally significant rail programme. Working closely with clients, contractors, delivery partners and multidisciplinary teams, you will support commercial governance, contract administration, change management and cost control activities across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team, providing trusted commercial advice and helping to drive value, manage risk and support successful programme outcomes within a complex rail infrastructure environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Delivering commercial and cost management services for rail projects.
- Administering NEC contracts and associated commercial agreements.
- Managing change, risks, opportunities, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Providing trusted commercial advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiating final accounts, claims and settlements.
- Driving commercial governance and continuous improvement.
- Mentoring colleagues, share knowledge and support business development.

You’ll need to have:

- Extensive rail infrastructure commercial experience.
- Strong NEC contract and governance knowledge.
- Cost, forecasting and change management expertise.
- Proven commercial risk management capability.
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Relevant degree; MRICS desirable.
- UK right to work.
