About the Role:

As an RN in OB/GYN, you will support patients throughout a wide range of women's health needs, from routine gynecologic care and family planning to pregnancy and postpartum care. You will work closely with providers to coordinate care, provide education, respond to clinical concerns, and support in-office procedures.

Schedule & Work Environment

- Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
- Hours may vary based on provider and departmental needs.
- No routine weekends, holidays, overnight shifts, or on-call requirements.
- Fast-paced orthopedic specialty clinic supporting multiple providers and a high volume of patient interactions.

Primary Responsibilities

- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medications, medical history, and relevant clinical information.
- Assist providers with examinations, prenatal care, screenings, treatments, and in-office OB/GYN procedures.
- Provide telephone triage and respond to patient questions and clinical concerns within scope of practice.
- Coordinate laboratory work, imaging, referrals, medications, results, and follow-up care.
- Provide education related to pregnancy, postpartum care, family planning, medications, procedures, and other women's health needs.
- Recognize changes or concerns in a patient's condition and communicate appropriately with the provider.
- Accurately document patient care, communication, and follow-up in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to support efficient, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

- Current Illinois RN license required.

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.

- Current CPR/BLS certification required.

- Previous OB/GYN, women's health, or ambulatory nursing experience preferred.

- Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and communication skills.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $25.00 - $37.50 per hour , with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through bonuses and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
