Job Title: VDC Project Manager Job Description The VDC Project Manager leads Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) initiatives that support successful electrical construction projects across data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial sectors. This position is based at the companys headquarters in Columbus, Ohio and focuses on coordinating digital design efforts, managing project workflows, and ensuring high-quality shop drawings and models that align with project requirements. Responsibilities

- Lead Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) efforts for complex, high-impact electrical construction projects.
- Coordinate and manage VDC activities across data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial projects.
- Oversee the production of accurate and detailed shop drawings using Revit and related tools.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, project operations, and field operations teams to align models with construction needs.
- Use Navisworks to perform model coordination, clash detection, and integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Apply Bluebeam and other digital tools to review drawings, mark up documents, and support project documentation workflows.
- Ensure that VDC deliverables meet project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements.
- Support construction planning by providing constructible models and coordinated design information to project teams.
- Communicate VDC-related issues, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders and contribute to project decision-making.
- Continuously improve VDC processes and standards to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.

Essential Skills

- At least 3 years of VDC/BIM experience, including hands-on proficiency with Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Revit.
- Proven experience producing high-quality shop drawings for construction projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
- Exp. in electrical design, engineering, project operations, or field operations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate VDC activities.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in a construction environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Associate or bachelors degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Construction Management certificate is a plus.
- Experience supporting projects in data centers, healthcare, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
- Experience working within Revit MEP environments.
- Familiarity with design and construction workflows in enterprise and higher education settings.

Work Environment This role is based at the companys headquarters in Columbus, Ohio and operates within a professional office and project-focused environment. The VDC Project Manager works closely with design, engineering, and construction teams, using tools such as Revit, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and other digital platforms to support electrical construction projects. The work involves regular collaboration, coordination meetings, and interaction with stakeholders across data center, healthcare, industrial, higher education, and enterprise projects.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $160000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
