About this role

Quality Control Technician As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting process and product quality testing. Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment, samples, and materials for analysis, as well as performing environmental monitoring in cleanrooms. You will also partner with third-party testing laboratories and manage batch record reviews, non-conformance investigations, and data entry. Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, final, and finished product inspections.
- Conduct measurement and verification activities using calibrated inspection equipment.
- Review manufacturing documentation, supplier-provided data, and Certificates of Analysis.
- Verify product labeling, packaging, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and control nonconforming materials and products.
- Maintain quarantine areas and segregate returned products to prevent unintended use.
- Prepare samples, submit them for analysis, collect and analyze data, and interpret results.
- Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms.
- Collect, prepare, and submit samples to various labs.
- Verify and analyze test results.
- Prepare and mix chemical formulations for production use.
- Perform in-process quality control tasks and maintain equipment maintenance records.
- Conduct daily pre-operational QC checks of passivation chemistry.
- Perform package visual inspection, seal strength, and integrity testing.
- Review sterilization certificates for full release.
- Engage in QC investigations and corrective action plans (CAPAs).

Essential Skills

- 4+ years of quality experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, aerospace, food).
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate a quality mindset.
- 1+ years of experience in investigation, technical reports, and analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Associates or Bachelors degree in science.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Experience with third-party sterilization labs or contract testing labs.
- 6+ months of sterilization/environmental monitoring experience in a regulated environment.

Work Environment This position is fully on-site operating from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role is primarily focused on quality control functions (80%) with the remaining time dedicated to documentation tasks (20%). This is an hourly role in a small, family-run company with a culture focused on collaboration and career advancement opportunities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Additionally they offer a 401K, with company match of up to 4%. They also have profit sharing
