Southern Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) or Licensed Practical Nurse Medical Services Coordinator (LPN MSC) to join the healthcare team at Stokes County Jail .
This role gives you the opportunity to use your nursing skills while helping keep day-to-day healthcare operations organized, consistent, and focused on quality patient care.
You'll work in a structured, secure environment where communication, clinical judgment, organization, and follow-through matter every day. π
π What You'll Do
- Provide and coordinate patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
- Coordinate healthcare services and communicate patient needs to the appropriate members of the healthcare team
- Help support daily clinical operations and continuity of care
- Collaborate with medical providers, nursing staff, and correctional personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, clinical standards, and facility requirements
- Promote a professional, respectful, and patient-focused healthcare environment
- Provide hands-on nursing care while supporting the overall coordination of services
Qualifications
π What We're Looking For
For the RN MTA Opportunity
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Previous nursing experience preferred
- Leadership, charge nurse, coordination, or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
For the LPN MSC Opportunity
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
- Previous nursing experience preferred
- Leadership, coordination, or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
For Either Opportunity
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Professionalism and dependability in a secure environment
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend
