Looking for a part-time nursing opportunity with a consistent weekly schedule ?
Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Rabun County Jail .
This position offers a predictable every-Sunday schedule , giving you the opportunity to provide meaningful patient care while maintaining your availability during the rest of the week.
You'll work in a structured, secure correctional healthcare setting where your nursing skills, clinical judgment, and compassion can make a real difference.
🩺 What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Respond to routine and urgent healthcare needs
- Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with providers and other members of the healthcare team
- Use sound clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills throughout each shift
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach in a secure environment
Qualifications
📋 What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Georgia
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and professional patient care
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
- Dependability and professionalism
- Ability to consistently work every Sunday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Commitment to providing reliable coverage for scheduled shifts
