Architect / Project Designer

Location: Wenatchee, WA Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

About the Role

A growing architecture and design firm is seeking an Architect / Project Designer to join its collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects through all phases of development, from concept and design through permitting and construction administration. The ideal candidate is a motivated design professional with strong technical abilities, experience preparing construction documents, and a desire to continue developing their architectural career within a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Support projects through all phases of design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration.
- Develop design concepts, construction drawings, and project documentation using Revit.
- Assist Project Architects and Project Managers with project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Prepare permit submittals and coordinate with local agencies during the review process.
- Conduct building code research and apply accessibility, energy, and life safety requirements to project designs.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction administration activities.
- Create presentations, renderings, graphics, and other design-related materials.
- Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an architectural office environment.
- Experience supporting projects through multiple phases of design and construction.
- Understanding of permitting processes and jurisdictional requirements.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes including IBC, IRC, ADA, ANSI, and Energy Code requirements.
- Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong design, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Wenatchee, WA or relocate within commuting distance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Pursuing architectural licensure.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience using 3D modeling, rendering, and graphic design software.
- Construction administration experience.
- Experience coordinating directly with consultants and permitting agencies.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wenatchee, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
