Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Cashier for an F&B company in Kuwait .
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professional who can handle cashiering duties, process payments accurately, support smooth restaurant operations, and ensure a positive guest experience at the point of payment. The Cashier will play an important role in maintaining billing accuracy, proper cash handling, and professional guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest bills, payments, refunds, and transactions accurately and professionally.
- Process cash, card, and other approved payment methods according to company procedures.
- Ensure bills are correctly prepared, checked, and presented to guests.
- Maintain accurate cash float, daily sales records, and cashier reports.
- Balance cash, card slips, and system transactions at the end of each shift.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure correct billing and order charges.
- Handle guest inquiries related to bills and payments politely and efficiently.
- Report any billing errors, shortages, overages, or system issues to the supervisor or manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and work area.
- Follow company policies on cash handling, discounts, voids, refunds, and approvals.
- Support smooth guest flow during busy periods.
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty, and professionalism at all times.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, F&B Cashier, or similar role.
- Strong experience in restaurants, cafs, hospitality groups, hotels, or high-volume F&B operations.
- Good knowledge of billing procedures, cash handling, and payment processing.
- Experience with POS systems is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
- Honest, reliable, organized, and professional.
- Basic computer skills and ability to prepare daily cashier reports.
- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
