Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Executive Pastry Chef for an F&B company in Kuwait .
We are looking for a creative and highly skilled pastry professional who can lead pastry and bakery operations, develop high-quality dessert offerings, manage production, and ensure consistency across all outlets. The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for menu development, team leadership, quality control, cost management, and maintaining excellent pastry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily pastry and bakery operations across assigned outlets or concepts.
- Create, develop, and enhance dessert menus, cakes, pastries, breads, chocolates, and seasonal specials.
- Ensure all pastry and bakery items are prepared and presented according to company standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, decoration, and presentation.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the pastry and bakery team to achieve high performance.
- Oversee production planning, mise en place, storage, stock rotation, and service readiness.
- Support bulk production requirements for events, catering, displays, and high-volume operations.
- Monitor food cost, inventory, ordering, wastage, and portion control.
- Ensure strict hygiene, food safety, cleanliness, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Introduce creative pastry concepts while maintaining practical and efficient operations.
- Coordinate closely with culinary, service, purchasing, stewarding, and management teams.
- Maintain proper use, cleanliness, and maintenance of pastry equipment and work areas.
- Support operational improvements and ensure consistency across all pastry production areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Executive Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar senior pastry leadership role.
- Strong experience in restaurants, hospitality groups, hotels, luxury cafs, or high-volume F&B operations.
- Solid knowledge of pastry, bakery, desserts, cakes, chocolates, plated desserts, and production planning.
- Experience in bulk production and multi-outlet pastry support is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, team-management, and training skills.
- Good understanding of food cost control, inventory management, portion control, and wastage reduction.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards.
- Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and handle pressure professionally.
- Professional attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- International hospitality or multi-outlet experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
