About this role

Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Head Waiter for an F&B company in Kuwait .

We are looking for a polished and service-focused hospitality professional who can lead the service team, support smooth restaurant operations, and ensure guests receive a warm, professional, and high-quality dining experience. The Head Waiter will play an important role in supervising waiters, maintaining service standards, and coordinating closely with the restaurant management team.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.

- Lead, guide, and support waiters during daily restaurant operations.

- Ensure food and beverage service is delivered according to company standards.

- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, service flow, and overall restaurant presentation.

- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately when required.

- Ensure menu knowledge, product knowledge, and upselling standards are followed by the team.

- Handle guest requests, feedback, and minor complaints professionally and promptly.

- Support smooth communication between the service team, kitchen, bar, and management.

- Conduct shift briefings and communicate daily specials, guest preferences, and operational updates.

- Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, performance, and professional conduct.

- Assist with staff training, coaching, and on-the-job guidance.

- Support opening and closing procedures, stock control, and daily operational follow-up.

- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, health, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, Captain Waiter, Team Leader, or similar F&B service role.

- Strong experience in restaurants, cafs, hospitality groups, hotels, or high-volume F&B operations.

- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and sequence of service.

- Strong leadership, communication, and team-supervision skills.

- Excellent customer-service and guest-relations skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns professionally.

- Experience with POS systems is an advantage.

- International hospitality experience is an advantage.

- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
