About this role

Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Chef de Rang for an F&B company in Kuwait .

We are looking for a polished and service-focused hospitality professional who can manage an assigned station, deliver high-quality food and beverage service, and ensure guests receive a refined and seamless dining experience. The Chef de Rang will be responsible for maintaining service standards, supporting the team, and coordinating closely with restaurant supervisors and management.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests in a professional, warm, and courteous manner.

- Manage an assigned station and ensure smooth service flow during operations.

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve guests according to company standards.

- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, mise en place, and overall station readiness.

- Maintain strong menu knowledge, including ingredients, allergens, beverages, and daily specials.

- Provide recommendations and support upselling of menu items, beverages, and promotions.

- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests promptly and professionally.

- Handle guest feedback or minor concerns and escalate when required.

- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, hostess, runners, and service team to ensure timely service.

- Support junior waiters and runners with guidance during service.

- Follow opening, closing, and side-duty procedures as required.

- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, health, safety, and company procedures.

- Maintain grooming, appearance, and professional conduct in line with company standards.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Chef de Rang, Senior Waiter, Waiter, Captain Waiter, or similar F&B service role.

- Strong experience in restaurants, cafs, hospitality groups, hotels, or high-volume F&B operations.

- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and sequence of service.

- Strong guest-service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage a station independently during busy operations.

- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest requests professionally.

- Experience with POS systems is an advantage.

- Fine dining or international hospitality experience is an advantage.

- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
