What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst for global people analytics, you will help manage, build, and improve internal tools and applications that support the software development lifecycle. Working closely with Product Management and engineering leads, you will contribute to platform capabilities — including integrations across the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Automation) — that improve developer productivity and strengthen engineering quality.
You will apply established engineering standards to build, test, and maintain these tools, take part in architecture reviews, and help evaluate new technologies — keeping your work secure, reliable, and well-documented.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain internal tools and applications that support the software development lifecycle
- Contribute to platform capabilities, including integrations across the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Automation)
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, efficient software delivery
- Apply established engineering standards and architectural guidance when building and enhancing tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across internal platforms, ensuring reliability and performance
- Collaborate with Product Management, Platform Engineering, Security, and DevSecOps teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Take part in architecture reviews and provide technical input on design decisions
- Evaluate new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled features, to support continuous improvement
- Document technical designs, processes, and configurations for internal knowledge sharing
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (must-have); cloud/AI certifications are a plus
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, including building internal platforms or tools (must-have)
- Experience building secure, scalable software solutions; exposure to AI-enabled tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of cloud-native architecture and API-first design (Azure/AWS); familiarity with AI tooling (e.g., OpenAI, MCP) is a plus
- Experience with modern engineering/DevSecOps platforms — Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Automation), CI/CD (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and solid database management (DBMS) fundamentals (must-have)
- Familiarity with Snowflake is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of Python and a front-end framework such as ReactJS is a must have
- Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Django is a plus
Who You'll Work With
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering organization focused on improving the software development lifecycle through internal tools and platform capabilities. You'll partner closely with Product Management, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and DevSecOps teams to build and support these capabilities, and will work alongside engineering leaders, architects, and technical specialists to apply established standards and contribute to the team's platform work.
