Southern Health Partners is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Madison County Detention Center in Alabama.
This is an opportunity to provide meaningful, patient-centered care in a safe and secure correctional healthcare setting while working a structured rotating schedule.
What Youll Do
As an LPN with Southern Health Partners, youll provide essential nursing care to an underserved population while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing direct nursing care to patients within the correctional facility
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Performing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
- Responding to medical needs and changes in patient status
- Collaborating with medical providers and the healthcare team
- Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintaining professional standards of care and patient confidentiality
- Supporting a safe, secure, and respectful healthcare environment
Qualifications
What Were Looking For
- Current LPN license in the state of Alabama
- Current CPR certification
- Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while being a dependable member of the healthcare team
- Comfortable working in a structured, secure environment
- Ability to work the assigned rotating 12-hour schedule from 5:45 AM to 6:30 PM
