About this role
Job Requirements
Are you passionate about floral and excited by the opportunity to build and grow a program?
Four Seasons Produce is looking for someone with a passion for floral and a strong business mindset to lead and grow our floral program.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who understands the floral industry and wants to do more than simply buy or sell product. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our assortment, develop supplier partnerships, identify new products and trends, create customer programs and help our Sales and Merchandising teams bring those opportunities to life.
Our goal is simple: make floral easier for our customers to buy, merchandise and successfully sell.
What You’ll Do
As Floral Program Manager, you’ll have ownership of the floral program from sourcing through customer execution, including:
• Build a compelling everyday, seasonal, and innovative floral assortment.
• Develop and manage a reliable, diverse network of floral suppliers.
• Lead floral sourcing, purchasing, inventory and inbound freight coordination.
• Develop pricing, margin, promotional and suggested retail strategies.
• Identify trends, new products and unique opportunities that differentiate our floral offering.
• Partner with suppliers and customers to develop programs that drive mutual growth.
• Analyze sales, margin, inventory and program performance to identify opportunities and improve results.
• Serve as our floral subject-matter expert, helping Sales and Merchandising teams successfully sell and support the program.
• Provide guidance around merchandising, display building, product handling, ordering, shrink management, and best practices.
• Partner with Marketing to develop promotions, flyers, preorder programs, and other sales-driving content.
• Collaborate with Operations and Transportation to ensure floral moves efficiently through our supply chain.
• Represent Four Seasons Produce at floral trade shows and industry events.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings a combination of floral knowledge, commercial thinking, creativity and execution.
Ideally, you have:
• 5–7 years of experience in the floral or produce industry, with experience in wholesale, retail, foodservice, or organics.
• Experience in sales, merchandising, customer service, marketing, buying or program management.
• Strong knowledge of floral products, suppliers, trends, merchandising and retail opportunities.
• A sales-oriented mindset and an ability to recognize opportunities and turn ideas into action.
• Strong analytical skills and an understanding of cost, pricing, margin, inventory and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, organization and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work cross-functionally and independently manage multiple priorities.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent business experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI is a plus.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This isn’t a role where you’re simply maintaining an established floral program.
You’ll have the opportunity to help influence what the FSP Floral Program becomes—building supplier relationships, discovering new products, developing programs for customers, and creating a scalable floral business that helps our customers succeed.
If you know floral, enjoy building relationships, have a strong commercial mindset and get excited about creating and growing something, we’d love to talk with you.
