Job Title: Project Manager (New Product Development) Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of projects within the organization's engineering team, from project intake and scoping through to production. This role requires effective cross-functional communication and the ability to provide face-to-face updates to leaders. The Project Manager will lead their project teams to accomplish challenging goals and ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Oversee the new project intake process.
- Lead cross-functional project scoping.
- Assess and communicate resource constraints.
- Develop project charters to align project scope, schedule, budget, and KPIs (quality, cost, ROI) with project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Establish and manage the project schedule, assigning clear tasks to team members and ensuring project deliverables are documented in the PLM system.
- Lead the project core team to ensure cross-functional coordination of all project activities.
- Support and ensure the completion of design reviews and conduct project gate reviews.
- Manage project scope through disciplined use of change management processes.
- Collaborate with the PMO team to continuously improve project management processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading new product development projects.
- Proven success in leading projects from initiation through launch.
- Experience managing product development projects through a formal phase gate process.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.85/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
