##### Your impact
As an Advisor, Technical Training, you will play a key role in building workforce capability, operational readiness, and a strong safety culture at Brucejack Mine. Leveraging your underground mining experience, you will develop and deliver technical training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge to work safely and effectively. This role combines classroom facilitation, field-based coaching, and hands-on training in an active underground mining environment.
##### As Part of the Team, You Will
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that meet operational, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate Underground Mine Operations training, including onboarding, equipment qualifications, competency assessments, field observations, and refresher training.
- Develop engaging training materials, technical documentation, digital learning content, and multimedia resources.
- Partner with operational leaders to assess training needs, address skill gaps, and support workforce development initiatives.
- Utilize learning management systems and digital tools to manage training records, scheduling, and reporting.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion safe work practices and reinforce a strong safety culture across site operations.
- Based on operational demand, facilitate training and provide coaching to team members across other areas of the mine site as required.
##### Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- A minimum of 5 years of underground mining experience is required.
- Experience operating a variety of underground mining equipment.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering technical training programs in an industrial environment.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Proficiency developing presentations, training materials, and technical documentation using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
- Working knowledge of applicable regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
- Ability to facilitate and present classroom learning materials and communicate with employees at all levels.
- Strong planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Post-secondary education in Adult Learning, Training & Development, Human Resources, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Train-the-Trainer certification, experience with Articulate 360, or related training credentials are considered assets.
##### Your Work Environment
This position is based at Brucejack Mine and operates on a fly-in/fly-out rotation. This is a temporary 12-month opportunity.
This is a hands-on, field-based role that consistently conducts training underground. The successful candidate will conduct new hire orientations, facilitate classroom and field training, perform competency assessments, and lead site tours. Candidates must be comfortable working in an active underground mining environment and capable of meeting the physical demands associated with accessing operational work areas.
You will work closely with Mine Operations leaders and site stakeholders to support workforce development, operational excellence, and a culture where safety is integrated into every aspect of learning and performance.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$85,400 - $113,900. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
