Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Rockwood, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

- Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior to appropriate family members or healthcare professionals.

- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.

- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a personal support or caregiving role is a plus.

- Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and their families.

- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation preferred.
