Job Title: Event Technician Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Event Technician to support a corporate campus. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of onsite meetings, conferences, executive events, and workplace activities through exceptional audiovisual (AV) support, room readiness, event coordination, and customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for meetings, town halls, executive briefings, trainings, and special events.
- Set up, test, and operate audiovisual equipment including microphones, displays, projectors, cameras, speakers, and video conferencing platforms.
- Ensure meeting rooms and event spaces are fully operational and event-ready.
- Troubleshoot AV, connectivity, and presentation issues in real time.
- Support hybrid meetings involving both onsite and remote participants.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related technical support.
- Deliver a high-touch customer experience for executives, employees, and guests.
- Partner closely with Workplace Experience, Facilities, IT, and Security teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Maintain professionalism and composure while supporting high-visibility meetings and leadership events.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on AV equipment.
- Track, inventory, and maintain event technology assets and supplies.
- Maintain documentation related to equipment configurations, event setups, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Coordinate vendor support and repairs when necessary.
- Assist with room scheduling coordination and event logistics.
- Support campus activities, employee engagement events, and company functions.
- Follow workplace safety standards and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve event support processes and user experience.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of AV, event technology, conference services, or related technical support experience.
- Experience supporting corporate meetings, executive presentations, or large-scale events.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, or similar conferencing platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving AV, video conferencing, and presentation technologies.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable supporting executive and client-facing events.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting a large corporate campus or enterprise environment.
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or equivalent AV credentials.
- Experience with digital signage, streaming platforms, and event production tools.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and workplace service management platforms.
Work Environment
This position operates in a corporate environment, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will play a critical role in supporting the employee and executive experience at one of the world's leading cybersecurity organizations, helping deliver flawless meetings and events across a dynamic, high-profile corporate environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
