Job Title: Architectural Drafter / Staff Designer (3-Month Contract) Job Description This temporary Staff Designer role supports active healthcare and commercial architectural projects by producing and modifying construction documents, incorporating redlines, and providing comprehensive drafting and production support. The position is highly production-focused and requires strong Revit skills, the ability to follow direction, and the capacity to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up time. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior architectural professional seeking hands-on project experience and interim employment, with potential for extension depending on project workload and performance. Responsibilities

- Produce and modify architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit for healthcare and commercial office projects.
- Support project teams through all phases of design and documentation, focusing on high-quality, accurate production work.
- Update and refine drawing sets based on evolving project requirements and design developments.
- Incorporate design revisions, redlines, and markups from architects and project managers into construction and permit documents.
- Assist with preparation of construction documents, permit packages, and other project deliverables.
- Coordinate closely with internal project team members to ensure consistency and alignment across all project documents.
- Provide general production and drafting support for multiple ongoing projects, acting as a reliable, detail-oriented production resource.
- Follow established standards, templates, and workflows to maintain consistency in documentation across projects.
- Manage and organize project files and drawings to support efficient team collaboration and document retrieval.
- Contribute to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment by maintaining accuracy and productivity with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills

- Degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to work efficiently and independently in a production-focused environment.
- Experience producing architectural construction documents, preferably within professional or internship settings.
- Ability to quickly understand and implement direction from architects and project managers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when incorporating redlines and design revisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal project team members.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple drawings, document sets, and project files.
- Ability to work onsite five days per week and maintain a consistent schedule.
- Capacity to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time and contribute immediately to project production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- 14 years of architectural experience, with openness to candidates in the 01 year range who demonstrate strong Revit skills.
- Healthcare architecture project experience.
- Commercial office and commercial construction project experience.
- Experience supporting architects and project managers on active design and documentation efforts.
- Experience incorporating design revisions, redlines, and markups into construction and permit documents.
- Background in architectural design and drafting, including internships or junior designer roles.
- Comfort working in a highly production-oriented role, focusing on drafting and documentation rather than conceptual design.
- Recent architecture graduates and candidates with multiple architectural internships are encouraged to apply.
- Motivation to serve as a reliable production resource and willingness to focus on detailed Revit and documentation work.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
