Quality Lab Technician - 3rd Shift

Hands-On Lab Testing | Quality Assurance | Analytical Chemistry | Regulatory Compliance | Career Growth Opportunity About the Role Join a growing quality team where you'll help ensure products meet the highest standards before reaching customers. In this role, you'll perform laboratory testing, inspect materials and finished products, maintain quality documentation, and work closely with production teams in a regulated manufacturing environment. Schedule: 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday) What You'll Do

- Perform quality testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.
- Use lab equipment and analytical techniques including pH testing, titrations, HPLC, ICP, and pipetting.
- Review and maintain quality documentation, batch records, labels, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Prepare customer-specific documentation and support product release activities.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Participate in audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement projects.
- Partner with production teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate test records and support product traceability.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or another scientific field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) laboratory.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and data analysis.
- Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques, including titrations and pH testing.
- Experience using analytical instrumentation such as HPLC and/or ICP is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with production and quality teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Experience

- Chemical, food-grade, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to quality systems such as SQF, FAMI-QS, IPEC, GMP, or similar standards.
- Experience reviewing Certificates of Analysis and participating in audits.
- Continuous improvement and troubleshooting experience.

Work Environment This position is based in a laboratory that supports chemical manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with production staff, conduct testing and inspections, and help ensure products meet quality and safety requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Rosemount, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
