Role Summary

The Marketing Generalist is a hands-on, execution-driven marketer responsible for planning,

producing, and measuring multi-channel campaigns and client events that drive engagement and support commercial objectives. Working at the intersection of Sales, business line stakeholders, and control functions, this role translates client priorities into targeted digital campaigns, audience segmentations, and executional assets — from email templates and sales collateral to social media content — while managing timelines, dependencies, and approval workflows across Legal, Compliance, and Brand to keep work on schedule and on standard.

Beyond day-to-day execution, the Marketing Generalist plays an analytical and strategic role: tracking campaign and event performance, distilling findings into actionable recommendations, and contributing competitive and audience research that informs annual marketing plans and channel strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong project management instincts, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative working style, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives end to end in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Position Summary

- Partner with Sales and business line stakeholders to understand client priorities, gather input on campaign and event needs, and ensure marketing deliverables align with commercial objectives.
- Contribute to the development of annual marketing plans by providing campaign performance insights, competitive and audience research, and recommendations that inform channel and content strategy.
- Execute multi-channel digital campaigns across email and social platforms to drive client engagement.
- Build and maintain audience segmentations to support targeted campaign delivery.
- Draft, design, and produce executional assets, including email templates, sales collateral, and social media content.
- Manage project timelines, trackers, and deliverable calendars across concurrent campaigns and events, proactively flagging risks, dependencies, and approval bottlenecks to keep work on schedule.
- Support the comprehensive planning, operational logistics, and execution of both in-person and virtual client events.
- Coordinate content reviews across Legal, Compliance, Brand, and relevant business lines.
- Track, measure, analyze and report on the impact of marketing campaigns and events using data analytics platforms, and summarize findings into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications:

- 3–6+ years of marketing experience spanning campaign execution, content production, and event support, preferably in a B2B, professional services, or financial services environment.
- Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying campaigns in an enterprise marketing automation platform, including audience selection, QA, deployment, and performance reporting.
- Working knowledge of CRM and list management (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Adobe Campaign), including building audience segments, managing suppression rules, and maintaining data hygiene.
- Experience producing sales collateral such as pitch decks, one-pagers, fact sheets, and case studies.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills across email, social, and sales collateral.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects against firm deadlines, with meticulous attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
- Experience supporting in-person and virtual client events end to end, including registration platform management, vendor and budget coordination, run-of-show development, and day-of execution.
- Experience routing materials through Legal, Compliance, and Brand review, incorporating multi-round feedback and managing disclosure requirements.
