About the Opportunity:
Join our client, an innovative MRO operation located at Gwinnett County Airport (LZU) in Atlanta, GA, as a Lead A&P Mechanic. This is a remarkable opportunity for professionals with a passion for turboprops and light jets, particularly those experienced with Citation aircraft. Responsibilities:
- Lead project workflows and oversee comprehensive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all Citation aircraft.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on other turbine aircraft as needed.
- Ensure all aircraft are returned to service in compliance with FAA regulations and complete all required documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting, evaluation, repairs, and fueling operations.
- Organize and submit documentation to ensure a seamless Return to Service process.
- Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance to maintain shop organization and oversee operational tasks.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Have 12–15 years of experience in turbine aircraft maintenance.
- Be run-qualified on the Citation airframe.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask, manage projects efficiently, and stay organized.
- Be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Own the necessary tools and successfully complete FAA/DOT pre-employment screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with King Air and Citation airframes.
- Previous supervisory or crew lead experience.
