Job Summary:
The Marketing Associate will support marketing initiatives across The Scalo Companies. This position will assist with social media, content creation, graphic design, photography, and day-to-day marketing activities to strengthen brand awareness, showcase our projects, and support our sales and operations teams. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating with others, managing multiple projects, and bringing creative ideas to life.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and schedule content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Visit active and completed construction job sites to capture and edit project photography.
- Write project spotlights, case studies, customer success stories, blog posts, and other marketing content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather project information, testimonials, and content opportunities.
- Assist in designing sales collateral, advertisements, presentations, signage, and promotional materials.
- Develop graphics for social media, company events, and internal communications.
- Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials.
- Manage company announcements on the internal Intranet.
- Maintain and coordinate branded apparel, promotional products, business cards, and marketing inventory.
- Maintain and update website content, including project photography, written content, and SEO-focused blog posts.
- Assist with trade shows, company events, and internal culture initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day marketing support to sales teams and other departments.
- Respond to Team Member and external team inquiries in a timely manner and with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with photography, photo editing, and basic video editing.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills .
- Experience creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, website content management systems such as WordPress, SEO, and digital analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Self-motivated, creative, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel locally to construction job sites and company events.
- Previous experience in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry is a plus.
