Deputy Manager

Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for plant equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related equipment problems.
Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimum production downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repeated equipment breakdowns.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
Maintain equipment history and breakdown records.
Process Equipment Maintenance
Handle maintenance of API process equipment such as:
Reactors and agitators
Centrifuges
ANFD/Nutsche filter dryers
Tray dryers and vacuum dryers
Pumps and vacuum pumps
Blowers and compressors
Heat exchangers
Gearboxes and mechanical seals
Solvent recovery systems
Scrubbers and other process equipment
Utility & Facility Maintenance
Support maintenance of critical plant utilities including:
Chillers and cooling towers
HVAC/AHU systems
Boilers and steam systems
Compressed air systems
Vacuum systems
Nitrogen systems
Water systems
DG/UPS and electrical systems
Monitor utility equipment performance and ensure uninterrupted supply to production.
Preventive Maintenance
Prepare and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance plans.
Ensure timely completion of PM activities.
Review PM effectiveness and modify schedules where required.
Maintain maintenance checklists and equipment history.
Ensure critical spare parts are identified and available.
Breakdown Maintenance
Attend equipment breakdowns and restore equipment safely and quickly.
Coordinate with Production during breakdown situations.
Analyze breakdown trends and implement permanent solutions.
Ensure proper documentation of breakdown causes, actions, and downtime.
Engineering Projects
Support installation, modification, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
Review technical specifications, equipment drawings, and vendor documents.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors during engineering activities.
Support plant expansion, modification, and shutdown projects.
GMP & Documentation
Ensure maintenance activities comply with GMP, SOPs, and site quality procedures.
Maintain:
Preventive maintenance records
Breakdown reports
Equipment history cards
Work orders
Maintenance checklists
SOPs
Engineering logbooks
Participate in Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, and RCA activities.
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
Safety & EHS
Ensure compliance with all EHS requirements during maintenance activities.
Follow LOTO, Permit-to-Work, Hot Work, Confined Space, and electrical safety procedures.
Ensure appropriate PPE is used.
Conduct job safety assessments and identify unsafe conditions.
Promote safe maintenance practices among technicians and contractors.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Coordinate with external vendors and maintenance contractors
