Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

Charlestown Place at New Albany is hiring a full-time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) for skilled nursing in New Albany, IN at $20.00–$22.50/hour plus credit for experience. You’ll work just 3 days a week on 12-hour day or night shifts. Same-day interviews are available when possible.

Schedule: Full-time, 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts:

- Days: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Nights: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM

What You’ll Do

- Provide daily direct care to residents in our skilled nursing facility
- Document medication administration, and watch for and report changes in residents’ condition
- Help with CNA duties and work closely with nursing staff
- Keep the medication cart clean and organized
- Follow facility policies and state regulations
- Support the healthcare team in delivering quality resident care

What You’ll Need

- Active Indiana QMA certification (required). Kentucky-certified medication aides must get Indiana QMA certification by their hire date.
- Willingness and ability to perform CNA duties (required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1 year of related experience preferred
