Driver (CNA)

Charlestown Place at New Albany is hiring a full-time Driver for our Skilled Nursing community in New Albany, IN at $18.00–$22.00/hour plus credit for experience. You’ll safely transport residents to appointments and outings, Monday–Friday, during daytime hours. Active CNA certification required. Apply today and hear back within 48 hours.

Be part of something meaningful. As a Driver at Charlestown Place at New Albany, you’ll get residents safely to medical appointments, community outings, and activities. You’ll use your CNA skills to give them patient, courteous support along the way.

What You’ll Do

- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, community outings, and on-site activities, arriving on time
- Help residents on and off the bus using the right equipment, with courteous, patient-centered support
- Inspect, fuel, and clean vehicles, and report maintenance needs or incidents promptly
- Keep staff updated on schedules, resident needs, and transportation changes
- Follow all safety and HIPAA requirements
- Help with staff training and take part in community activities

What You’ll Need

- Active CNA certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass insurance screening (required)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform the job’s physical tasks
- Transportation experience, especially in senior living or healthcare, strongly preferred
- CPR certification preferred
