Food Server | Governors Grill
Join the team at Governors Grill inside Casino Fandango! Were looking for a friendly, attentive Food Server who enjoys the energy of a busy restaurant and takes pride in making guests feel welcome. If you can keep service moving, communicate well with the kitchen, and stay calm when the dining room gets busy, wed love to meet you.
What youll do
- Greet guests warmly and take their initial beverage orders within three minutes of seating.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly.
- Learn the menu so you can answer questions and help guests make selections.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and fellow team members.
- Keep your assigned station clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests and coworkers, even during busy periods.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience and Education
- Must be 21 years of age or older .
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
- Availability for varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
- Ability to work in areas with secondary smoke, noise, bright lights, and dust.
- A well-groomed appearance.
Previous serving experience, food allergy knowledge, a high school diploma or GED, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are all a plus.
Required certifications: Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification.
Systems used: Info Genesis and Paycom.
