About this role

Job Title: Machine Assembler Job Description The Assembler will build and integrate complex capital equipment, ensuring that every system meets strict precision, quality, and reliability standards. This role focuses on executing detailed mechanical, electrical, and fluid system installations based on engineering drawings and technical documentation. The technician will diagnose and resolve integration, wiring, and fitment issues, while working closely with engineering on continuous product and process improvement. Collaboration with engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams is essential, as is maintaining accurate documentation throughout the build and integration process. Responsibilities

- Build and integrate complex capital equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Perform detailed mechanical, electrical, and fluid system installations, ensuring proper fit, function, and alignment.
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues, including wiring, fitment, and system-level performance problems.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics to guide assembly and installation activities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support continuous product and process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with quality and other cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets precision, quality, and reliability requirements.
- Use troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of equipment and integration issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of build activities, changes, and configurations.
- Follow established procedures and best practices appropriate for regulated manufacturing environments such as semiconductor, aerospace, or medical device.
- Leverage SAP or other ERP systems to record work, track parts, and support production workflows.

Essential Skills

- 25+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as semiconductor, aerospace, or medical device.
- Hands-on experience with engineering drawings, including the ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical and electrical documentation.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and SolidWorks for understanding assemblies and system layouts.
- Ability to work confidently with schematics to guide electrical and fluid system installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills for complex capital equipment builds.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting ability to diagnose and resolve integration, wiring, and fitment issues.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Background in manufacturing operations, including adherence to quality standards and regulated processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors or associate degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams on product and process improvements.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices in manufacturing environments.
- Comfort working with complex assemblies that involve mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and reliability in equipment builds.

Work Environment This role is based in a regulated manufacturing environment focused on building and integrating complex capital equipment. Team members work with engineering drawings, CAD models, SolidWorks, schematics, and ERP tools such as SAP to support production and integration activities. Openings are available on both first and second shifts: first shift runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and second shift runs from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The environment emphasizes collaboration with engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams, adherence to established procedures, and consistent attention to precision, quality, and reliability.

This is a Contract position based out of Newtown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
