We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Master Planning Professional to lead forecasting and demand planning activities for a designated product portfolio. This role serves as a critical link between Product Management, Financials, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Commercial Operations, ensuring accurate demand forecasts that support business objectives, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining forecast models, analyzing demand drivers, managing consensus planning processes, supporting product lifecycle management, and providing strategic insights that improve forecast accuracy and supply chain performance. This position also requires strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across a dynamic, global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts across multiple product categories, time horizons, and levels of aggregation using statistical forecasting models and business intelligence inputs.
- Lead cross-functional demand planning processes, collaborating with Product Managers, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Supply Planning teams to achieve forecast alignment and consensus.
- Analyze historical sales trends, market conditions, demand drivers, and business assumptions to identify risks, opportunities, and forecast adjustments.
- Manage product lifecycle planning activities, including new product introductions, phase-outs, attach-rate planning, option volume planning, and Last Time Buy coordination.
- Partner with Supply Planning and Inventory Management teams to support inventory optimization, improve customer service levels, and minimize excess, obsolete, and material-without-demand inventory.
- Maintain forecasting systems, monitor forecast accuracy metrics, ensure data integrity, and provide regular reporting and performance analysis to stakeholders and leadership.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, business reviews, and recommendations related to demand planning, forecast performance, supply risks, and market trends.
- Support strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, analytics capabilities, supply chain performance, and business growth objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related analytical field.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into business actions.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Relevant experience working with demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, inventory management, or business planning processes.
- Advanced to Fluent English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present to senior leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global environments.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with demand planning or forecasting software and advanced planning systems.
- Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, or other analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting product lifecycle management, inventory optimization, and supply chain planning.
- Experience within technology, manufacturing, consumer electronics, or multinational environments.
- Knowledge of PPB and Brazilian commodities regulations is a plus.
