Operations Specialist – Asia Pacific
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support payment, reconciliation and invoicing activities across the Asia Pacific region.
You will work with financial and operational data, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, variances are investigated, and accounts are properly reconciled.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor bank accounts and process daily payments and transactions.
- Perform cash and bank reconciliations , investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage invoices, payment allocations, refunds and supplier settlements.
- Support accounting reconciliations and accrual-related activities.
- Prepare data, reports and operational reconciliations accurately and within timelines.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous process improvements.
- Support digitalization initiatives and special projects as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Min of bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or any discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, payment processing, invoicing or similar operations for experienced hires.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Hands-on experience with reconciliations and large volumes of data .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve variances.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with numbers and financial transactions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Good to Have
- Japanese, Korean or Mandarin language capability.
- Supplier reconciliation experience.
- Regional or APAC experience.
- Exposure to digitalization, automation or process improvement initiatives.
- An AI mindset and interest in identifying smarter ways of working.
