We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Master Planning Specialist to support forecasting and demand planning activities across a designated product portfolio. This role is responsible for maintaining forecast models, analyzing demand trends, supporting planning processes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely demand signals for the supply chain.
The successful candidate will play a key role in improving forecast accuracy, supporting inventory planning decisions, monitoring product lifecycle transitions, and providing reporting and analytical insights that enable effective business and operational planning. This position offers strong exposure to Product Management, Financial Operations, Supply Planning, and Inventory teams while serving as a development pathway toward future Master Planning leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts across multiple product categories, planning horizons, and business segments, utilizing statistical analysis and business inputs.
- Analyze historical sales performance, market trends, promotional activities, and demand drivers to support forecast adjustments and planning decisions.
- Prepare, maintain, and validate forecasting models, attach-rate plans, and volume plans to support operational planning activities.
- Coordinate forecasting reviews with Product Managers, Marketing Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure business assumptions are accurately reflected in planning outputs.
- Support Supply Planning and Inventory Management teams by providing demand insights related to inventory optimization, new product introductions, product transitions, and phase-outs.
- Monitor forecast performance and key planning metrics, including forecast accuracy, serviceability, inventory health, and planning effectiveness.
- Maintain data quality within demand planning systems, ensuring accurate reporting, master data integrity, and timely updates to planning assumptions.
- Prepare dashboards, planning reports, business reviews, and executive presentations to support decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related analytical field.
- Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, inventory management, sales operations, or business planning processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, modeling, reporting, and large dataset management.
- Fluent English, with strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions, building effective relationships with business and operational teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning tools.
- Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, or other analytics and reporting platforms.
- Experience supporting inventory planning, product lifecycle management, or sales and operations planning processes.
- Experience in technology, manufacturing, consumer electronics, or multinational environments.
- Spanish language skills.
