Hours: 5:30AM - 4:00PM / Monday - Thurs
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour
Position Summary
To accurately and efficiently build and assemble standard hydraulic power units.
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years mechanical experience preferred
• Experience in a shop environment required

• Must be able to read and interpret written information
• Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) clearly with co-workers and customers
• Ability to apply basic mathematical principles such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and fractions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to learn new mechanical techniques
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Builds and assembles standard hydraulic power units
• Cuts and crimps hydraulic hose
• Performs quality checks throughout the course of assembly
• Pulls parts and components from inventory
• Performs tests on completed power units
• Stocks/restocks product for power unit department
• Maintains a clean and uncluttered workspace
• Follows safety and security policies and procedures
• Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe work conditions to the appropriate individual
• Completes task and/or projects as assigned
Physical Demands
This position is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to talk and hear to ensure safety.
May be occasionally required to sit. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required including close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a Manufacturing environment. The employee will work around moving mechanical equipment; may be exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Indoor Warehouse temperatures may be affected by outdoor conditions. Noise level is moderate to loud.
