The project:

This opportunity forms part of one of the most significant hyperscale data centre developments in the Asia Pacific region, delivering a multi-gigawatt, mission-critical campus in Queensland, Australia. With a projected construction programme spanning more than six years, the project offers the rare opportunity to contribute to a landmark development through multiple phases of design, delivery and operational readiness.

Working alongside a world-class client and an exceptional Mace team, you will help deliver infrastructure of the highest quality within a heavily regulated environment. This role will suit professionals who have experience on large-scale, complex projects and who consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, professionalism and technical excellence.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Leads data centre development activities, from due diligence and site evaluation through to project delivery.
- Supports investment decisions through market analysis, feasibility assessments and commercial insight.
- Drives value creation by optimising development strategies, governance and commercial performance.
- Builds strong relationships with clients, partners, authorities and project stakeholders.
- Coordinates multidisciplinary teams to deliver programme objectives, performance targets and business priorities.
- Champions sustainable development, supporting net zero carbon goals through effective carbon reduction initiatives.

You’ll need to have:

- Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 8-10 years' industry experience.
- CIPS qualified or working towards accreditation.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- Knowledge of construction markets and main contractor environments.
