Project Manager - MEP

The project:

This opportunity forms part of one of the most significant hyperscale data centre developments in the Asia Pacific region, delivering a multi-gigawatt, mission-critical campus in Queensland, Australia. With a projected construction programme spanning more than six years, the project offers the rare opportunity to contribute to a landmark development through multiple phases of design, delivery and operational readiness.

Working alongside a world-class client and an exceptional Mace team, you will help deliver infrastructure of the highest quality within a heavily regulated environment. This role will suit professionals who have experience on large-scale, complex projects and who consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, professionalism and technical excellence.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Manages MEP packages, ensuring safe, compliant delivery aligned with project objectives and Mace standards.
- Leads programme, quality, commissioning and health, safety and wellbeing performance across all project phases.
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships, coordinating clients, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversees procurement, budgets, schedules and contracts, driving value, efficiency and commercial performance.
- Supports design, commissioning and digital delivery strategies, promoting quality, innovation and operational excellence.
- Identifies risks, develops high-performing teams and drives continuous improvement while supporting net zero outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

- Degree-qualified in Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years' MEP project delivery experience, in a highly complex project environment.
- Proven delivery of complex construction projects and MEP packages exceeding AUD 20m value.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, planning, commercial and quality management.
- Professional accreditation preferred (CIBSE, IET, IMechE or equivalent).
- SMSTS and CSCS certified, with excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
