Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages full-cycle salaried recruiting while supporting a major HR technology transformation. This role oversees requisitions from job posting through offer stage, partners closely with hiring managers across manufacturing and corporate functions, and ensures a smooth candidate experience. In parallel, the specialist plays a key role in migrating recruiting activities into a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), helping maintain data accuracy, compliance, and operational continuity during a large-scale UKG implementation.
Responsibilities
- Manage salaried requisitions throughout the full recruiting lifecycle, from job posting and sourcing through offer stage.
- Partner directly with hiring managers to provide recruiting guidance, status updates, and process support throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate candidate movement through recruiting workflows and ensure a positive, professional candidate experience at every stage.
- Support hiring efforts across manufacturing facilities and corporate functions including IT, Finance, Sales, and other professional positions.
- Prepare employment offers and maintain recruiting compliance standards and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal and external job postings.
- Support day-to-day recruiting workflow administration and process execution within the ATS.
- Monitor ATS data integrity, compliance requirements, and overall accuracy of recruiting information.
- Partner with Recruiting, HR Business Partners, and project teams to ensure recruiting continuity during system cutover and process changes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance recruiting efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Support the migration of recruiting activities into UKG, including data review, testing, and process alignment.
- Assist with recruiting-related testing, validation, cleanup, and implementation activities for the new ATS.
- Reformat, review, and enter recruiting data into UKG, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned across systems.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicate records, and system-related issues within the ATS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a high-quality hiring experience while navigating large-scale system and process changes.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or recruiting operations.
- Proven experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience partnering directly with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle from applicant review through offer stage.
- Hands-on experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience reviewing, auditing, and validating recruiting or HR data.
- Strong systems aptitude and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting-related systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to succeed in an environment with shifting priorities and evolving processes.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to serving hiring managers and requisition owners as key stakeholders.
- Clear and effective communication skills with stakeholders at various levels.
- High level of adaptability, comfort with change, and ability to balance recruiting responsibilities with operational and systems-related work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ATS platforms such as UKG, Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle Recruiting, or similar systems.
- Experience with Taleo or similar legacy ATS platforms.
- Experience supporting HR technology implementations, system migrations, or platform transitions.
- Background in both recruiting and recruiting operations environments.
- Agency recruiting experience or experience supporting a variety of business functions and hiring managers.
- Exposure to manufacturing, corporate, professional, or high-volume recruiting environments.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting and requisition management.
- Experience in recruiting operations and process coordination.
- Experience providing hiring manager consultation and high-quality customer service.
- Demonstrated strength in data accuracy, auditing, and systems administration.
- Ability to remain adaptable and effective during large-scale system implementations and organizational change.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by helping teams navigate change while maintaining a strong hiring experience.
Work Environment
This role follows a hybrid schedule based in Seattle, WA, combining remote work with on-site collaboration. You will join a collaborative and fast-paced Talent Acquisition team in a high-visibility position that supports a major HR technology transformation. The environment offers a mix of hands-on recruiting execution, close stakeholder partnership, and recruiting operations and project support. You will work extensively with ATS platforms such as UKG and other HR technologies, leveraging Microsoft Office and related recruiting systems. This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
