Destination Management Company (DMC) in Tanzania & Kenya, is looking for a
talented and ambitious Groups & Events Coordinator to join its
international team in Tanzania .

safaris, bespoke travel experiences, and high-end corporate events (MICE)
across Kenya and Tanzania–Zanzibar, the company has been recognized with

Position Details

- Position: Groups & Events Coordinator
- Location: Arusha, Tanzania (relocation required)
- Contract: Minimum 3-year commitment
- Start: Immediate hiring

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with
the Account Managers, you will:

- Update client data, including new companies
and staff changes
- Create and manage files in the operational
system
- Prepare and send proposals to clients
- Negotiate and purchase the best products, and
engage the best suppliers
- Carry out inspection
trips
- Organize, supervise and execute programme
operations on the ground
- Send follow-up reminders for offers and follow
up on outstanding client payments
- Approve supplier invoices and keep the
operational system updated
- Create and compute new products in the system
- Maintain a status report of file progress

Requirements

Profile

- Graduate of a Hospitality, Travel or Tourism College or
a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the tourism or
hospitality industry
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) —
essential
- Fluent in German, Italian, French or Spanish —
essential
- Creative, organized, and customer-focused
personality
- Passion for luxury travel and exceptional
guest experiences
- Genuine willingness to relocate and build an
international career in East Africa
