Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Reception Manager for an Food & Beverage company in Kuwait .
We are looking for a polished and guest-focused hospitality professional who can lead the reception team, manage reservations and table flow, and ensure every guest receives a warm, professional, and seamless experience from arrival to departure. The Reception Manager will oversee the hosts and hostesses and ensure high standards of guest engagement, reservation management, and front-of-house coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage guest arrivals, seating, waiting lists, and departures efficiently.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service from the moment they enter the restaurant.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality, guest satisfaction, and restaurant image.
- Manage daily reservations, bookings, walk-ins, VIP guests, and special requests.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and monitor table availability.
- Coordinate table allocation according to reservations, guest preferences, and restaurant capacity.
- Manage waiting lists during busy periods and communicate estimated waiting times clearly.
- Monitor table turnover and coordinate with the service team to optimize seating.
- Supervise, guide, and support receptionists, hosts, and hostesses.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate reception coverage at all times.
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate important reservations, VIP guests, events, and special requirements.
- Train team members on guest service, restaurant standards, telephone etiquette, and reservation procedures.
- Monitor staff grooming, appearance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager, service team, kitchen, and management team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Reception Manager, Head Hostess, Guest Relations Supervisor, or similar front-of-house leadership role.
- Strong experience in restaurants, cafs, hospitality groups, or F&B operations.
- Experience managing hosts, hostesses, or reception teams is required.
- Strong knowledge of reservations, table management, guest flow, and waiting-list handling.
- Excellent customer-service, communication, and guest-relations skills.
- Strong leadership, team-management, and training skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with reservation systems is an advantage.
- International hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
