Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Head Hostess for an F&B company in Kuwait .
We are looking for a polished, confident, and guest-focused hospitality professional who can lead the hostess team, manage reservations and table allocation, and ensure every guest receives a warm, professional, and seamless welcome experience. The Head Hostess will support smooth front-of-house operations and maintain high standards of guest engagement, presentation, and service flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage guest arrivals, seating, waiting lists, and departures efficiently.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service from the moment they enter the restaurant.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and minor concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality, guest satisfaction, and restaurant image.
- Manage daily reservations, bookings, walk-ins, VIP guests, and special requests.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and monitor table availability.
- Coordinate table allocation according to reservations, guest preferences, and restaurant capacity.
- Manage waiting lists during busy periods and communicate estimated waiting times clearly.
- Monitor table turnover and coordinate with the service team to optimize seating.
- Lead, guide, and support hostesses during daily operations.
- Conduct briefings and communicate important reservations, VIP guests, events, and special requirements.
- Train hostess team members on guest service, telephone etiquette, reservation procedures, and restaurant standards.
- Monitor hostess grooming, appearance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Reception Manager, service team, kitchen, and management team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Hostess, Senior Hostess, Hostess Supervisor, or similar front-of-house role.
- Strong experience in restaurants, cafs, hospitality groups, or F&B operations.
- Experience supporting or leading a hostess team is required.
- Good knowledge of reservations, table management, guest flow, and waiting-list handling.
- Excellent customer-service, communication, and guest-relations skills.
- Confident, presentable, and able to create a strong first impression.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with reservation systems is an advantage.
- International hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
